I welcome the opportunity to participate in your career and life achievements by providing mentoring on an as–required basis. I am located in Hercules, near Berkeley, CA.
Although I prefer in-person discussions, Skype or the telephone could be employed. My recommendations will be based on my personal successful experience and not just text book theory.
I still deeply remember what it was like in all of my prior positions and what it took to advance in my career. Let me share this with you. Although there are no short cuts to advancement, there are smart ways to get there effectively. It takes hard, goal oriented work. I urge you to not change employment until you have consulted with me and we have discussed the ramifications and opportunities.

During this time I advanced from working on a production line (aligning television sets), to Jr. Technician, Technician, Senior Technician, Engineer, Electronic Design Engineer, Senior Engineer, Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, Program Manager and Director of Engineering. On a temporary assignment I had the responsibility of the Director of Integrated Logistics Support. I was with the Bendix Corporation for 32 years.

In addition I have worked with various divisions of the US Airforce, US Navy and their test facilities, and NASA. I have also provided technical and evaluation support for various foreign governments in coordination with the United States government.
COUNSELLING Martinez Juvenile Hall. My non-technical experience includes tutoring and mentoring incarcerated juveniles and interfacing with their therapists and parents. Occasionally, I represented juveniles in court providing status and achievement testimony.
AARP. Under the jurisdiction of the American Association of Retired Persons, I was assigned to an elderly veteran to help manage his financial and personal affairs. I was able to obtain pension benefits for my client that he didn’t realize he was entitled. Furthermore, unknown to him, he was in jeopardy of losing his home since his tax payments were in arrears. A plan was worked out with his Reverse Mortgage holder.
SBA. Under the initial guidance of the Small Business Administration, I mentored several businesses while performing my regular engineering tasks. My counselling was encouraged by the SBA and my employer, the Bendix Corporation.
TEACHING Military. As part of my corporate responsibilities, I visited US and foreign government facilities and taught operational aspects of complex systems such as Dipping Sonar, Interceptor Friend or Foe (IFF) systems, and Air Navigation guidance and recording systems.
